Can I supply art
on a disk or hard copy?
LB Printery offers complete graphic design solutions or you can
supply us with your artwork in digital file or mechanical format. If
you submit digital files, you may upload them to our FTP site, save
them to a 3.5" floppy or CD. We accept both PC and MAC files. We
recommend converting your fonts to graphic images. If this is not
possible, please make sure you include your fonts when saving your
files to disk or uploading them to our FTP site. Contact us for information on how
to upload your files to our FTP site.
If I want to supply film, what
specifications do I need?
Please supply your film work in a positive or negative form.
Particular care must be taken to ensure all film work is wrong reading
emulsion up. This is necessary for our plate making process and
ensures ultimate quality. Screen ruling is the number of lines per
inch in half-tones (single color photograph) and process color (full
color photograph). 100 to 120 line screen should be supplied for an
uncoated stock and 133 to 150 line screen for a coated stock. All film
work should be supplied with cut marks, registration marks and color
bars for color control as required. It is also a good idea to ensure
your film work. We accept film work by US Mail, UPS, and FedEx.
